Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy informs you how Nordic Sheep processes your personal data when you visit Nordicsheep.ch or order from us. It is governed by the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). Where the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union (GDPR) applies in an individual case, the information in the section “Information for persons in the EU” applies in addition.

Which data we process

Contact and order data: name, delivery and billing address, e-mail address, telephone number, products ordered, payment method, returns and exchanges.
Payment data: details of the payment and the payment status. We do not receive your full card details; they are processed directly by the payment providers.
Communication: messages you send us by e-mail, contact form or telephone.
Technical data: IP address, browser, device, pages visited and time of access, collected via cookies and similar technologies.
Marketing data: e-mail address and newsletter settings, if you have subscribed.

Purposes and legal bases

Processing your order (payment, customs clearance, delivery, return, customer service): conclusion and performance of the contract.
Legal obligations (accounting, taxes and customs, warranty): compliance with legal requirements.
Newsletter and advertising by e-mail: only with your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in every e-mail.
Analytics and marketing cookies: only with your consent.
Security of the online shop, protection against misuse and improvement of our offering: our overriding interest in a secure and well-functioning online shop.

We process your data in accordance with the principles of the Data Protection Act (Art. 6 FADP): lawfully, in good faith, proportionately and only for the purposes stated here. We need the details required for the order in order to conclude and perform the contract; details for marketing purposes are voluntary.

Recipients of the data

We do not sell your data. We pass it on only to parties that support us in operating the online shop and in processing your order:

our group company NATURES Collection A/S, Troldhøjvej 7, 8722 Hedensted, Denmark, which handles warehousing, shipping, returns and customer service on our behalf,
the shop platform Shopify, on which our online shop is operated,
payment providers (TWINT, credit card companies, PayPal),
the carrier UPS as well as logistics and customs clearance service providers,
providers of IT, e-mail and customer service solutions,
authorities, where we are legally obliged to do so, for example customs and tax authorities.

Disclosure abroad

Warehousing and customer service are run by our group company in Denmark. Your data is therefore also processed in Denmark and in other states of the European Union which, under Swiss law, have an adequate level of data protection. Individual service providers may also process data in other states. In these cases, data is disclosed only if the state concerned guarantees an adequate level of data protection or if suitable safeguards are in place, in particular standard contractual clauses with the adaptations required for Switzerland.

Retention period

We retain your data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes stated. We retain order, payment and accounting data for 10 years on the basis of the statutory retention obligations. We store newsletter data until you withdraw your consent. We store the data of your customer account until the account is deleted.

Your rights

You have the right to information about your data, to rectification, to erasure, to restriction of processing and to the release or transfer of your data in a commonly used electronic format. You can object to the processing, in particular to processing for advertising purposes, and withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future. To do so, simply write to us at gruezi@nordicsheep.ch; we will reply within 30 days.

The competent supervisory authority in Switzerland is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC, www.edoeb.admin.ch).

Information for persons in the EU

Where the GDPR applies, we base the processing on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract), (c) (legal obligations), (a) (consent) and (f) (legitimate interest). You then have the rights under Art. 15 to 21 GDPR, and you can lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your state of residence. The Danish data protection authority Datatilsynet (www.datatilsynet.dk) is responsible for our Danish group company NATURES Collection A/S.

Automated decisions

We do not make any decisions that are based solely on automated processing and that have legal consequences for you or significantly affect you.

Cookies

We use technically necessary cookies, without which the online shop does not work. We use analytics and marketing cookies only with your consent. You can change or withdraw your selection at any time via the cookie banner.
