Terms of service

1. Provider

Natures Collection AG, trading under the brand Nordic Sheep (hereinafter “Nordic Sheep”). Registered office: Birkenstrasse 47, 6343 Rotkreuz ZG, Switzerland. Commercial register no.: CH-170.3.039.740-2. VAT no.: CHE-387.747.999 VAT. E-mail: gruezi@nordicsheep.ch. Phone: +45 75 80 10 50.

2. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all orders placed by consumers with a delivery address in Switzerland via the online shop Nordicsheep.ch (hereinafter the “Customer”). A consumer is any natural person who orders goods for personal or family use. The version of the GTC in force at the time of the order is authoritative.

3. Conclusion of contract

The presentation of the products in the online shop is a non-binding invitation to place an order. The order is placed in the following steps: the Customer places the desired products in the cart, enters contact details and the delivery address at checkout, selects the shipping and payment method and checks the order summary showing the total price including value added tax, shipping costs and the customs clearance fee. Until the order is submitted, all entries can be checked, corrected or deleted at any time. By clicking the button that completes the order with an obligation to pay, the Customer submits a binding offer.

Nordic Sheep confirms receipt of the order without delay by e-mail. The purchase contract is concluded with this order confirmation. The order confirmation contains the details of the order; the order data is stored by Nordic Sheep and can be requested by e-mail to gruezi@nordicsheep.ch. The language of the contract is German; the online shop and these GTC are also available in French, Italian and English.

4. Prices and payment

All prices are stated in Swiss francs (CHF) and include Swiss value added tax (VAT, currently 8.1%) in accordance with the Price Indication Ordinance (PIO). Shipping costs and the customs clearance fee pursuant to section 5 are shown separately in the cart and in the order summary before the order is submitted. The payment methods available are TWINT, credit card (Visa, Mastercard) and PayPal. Quantity benefits (free shipping, free items and additional discount) apply in accordance with the conditions displayed in the cart; free items are granted while stocks last.

5. Delivery, shipping costs and customs clearance

Nordic Sheep delivers to addresses in Switzerland. Goods are shipped with UPS from the warehouse in Denmark. The delivery time is generally 3-5 working days from the order confirmation. Shipping costs are CHF 14.90 per order. Shipping is free of charge if the order comprises at least 2 items or the order value is at least CHF 99.

Nordic Sheep takes care of export from the European Union and import customs clearance into Switzerland. For this, a customs clearance fee of CHF 7.50 is charged per order; it is shown in the cart as “Swiss Import Duty”. Apart from this fee, no customs duties and no import VAT are charged to the Customer on delivery.

If, in exceptional cases, a delivery period cannot be met, Nordic Sheep will inform the Customer immediately; the statutory rights in the event of delayed delivery remain reserved. The risk of loss of or damage to the goods passes only when the goods are handed over to the Customer or to a person designated by the Customer.

6. Voluntary right of return of 100 days

Swiss law does not provide for a statutory right of withdrawal for online purchases. Nordic Sheep grants the Customer a voluntary right of return of 100 days from receipt of the goods, without giving reasons. The return is registered by e-mail to gruezi@nordicsheep.ch, stating the order number; the deadline is met if the return is registered within 100 days and the goods are then sent without delay.

The goods must be unused, undamaged and complete. Examining the goods in the way that is customary in a shop does no harm. In the event of signs of use or damage, Nordic Sheep may refuse the return or reduce the refund by the loss in value.

Nordic Sheep refunds the purchase price of the returned goods within 14 days of receipt of the return, using the means of payment used for the order. The cost of the return is borne by the Customer. On request, Nordic Sheep provides a return label for CHF 20.00; this amount is deducted from the refund. Alternatively, the Customer may send the goods to the return address at the Customer's own expense. Return address: NATURES Collection A/S, Troldhøjvej 7, 8722 Hedensted, Denmark. Exchanges are free of charge. If the goods are defective or the wrong item was delivered, the return is free of charge for the Customer. The voluntary right of return does not restrict the statutory warranty rights. Further information: Shipping & Returns.

7. Warranty

All products are covered by the statutory warranty for defects pursuant to Art. 197 et seq. of the Swiss Code of Obligations (CO). The warranty period is 2 years from delivery of the goods (Art. 210 CO). The Customer should inspect the goods on receipt and report defects by e-mail to gruezi@nordicsheep.ch as soon as possible after discovering them, stating the order number and including a description or a photo of the defect.

If there is a defect, Nordic Sheep will remedy it in consultation with the Customer by repair or replacement delivery. The Customer may instead demand a reduction of the purchase price (reduction) or, in the case of significant defects, rescission of the purchase against a refund of the purchase price (rescission). The cost of returning defective goods is borne by Nordic Sheep.

Genuine lambskins and hides are natural products: customary natural variations in colour, size, shape and hair structure, as mentioned in the product descriptions, are characteristics of the product and do not in themselves constitute a defect.

8. Data protection

Nordic Sheep processes personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Details can be found in the Privacy Policy.

9. Complaints, applicable law and place of jurisdiction

Complaints can be sent by e-mail to gruezi@nordicsheep.ch. Nordic Sheep endeavours to resolve every complaint directly with the Customer and responds within 14 days.

Contracts concluded via the online shop Nordicsheep.ch are governed by Swiss law. Mandatory provisions for the protection of consumers remain reserved in all cases. For actions brought by the consumer arising from the contract, the court at the consumer's domicile or at the registered office of Nordic Sheep has jurisdiction; for actions brought by Nordic Sheep, the court at the consumer's domicile has jurisdiction (Art. 32 of the Swiss Civil Procedure Code, CPC).
